Surabaya Zoo

Located in the south east corner of the city (South Surabaya) and is well stocked and offers a good selection of various tropical animals, like monkeys, deer's, zebra, lions, elephants, camels, dolphins, orang hutan from Kalimantan, birds, mermaid, and the famous Komodo the worlds lizards for which the island of Komodo the lesser Sunda chain. Also aquarium, quarantine, taxidermy and the nocturama section house a collection of bats, flying squirrels, and various other night animal. It opens daily from 09.00 am until 05.00 pm. It is the biggest zoo in South East Asia with 16 ha of wide. Vast parking and reachable by the city transportation or private vehicle.
